About Us

A sunny day at Elks Country Club's golf course.
A sunny day at Elks Country Club's golf course.

Rated 4.6 stars across nearly 100 reviews, Elks Country Club has earned its reputation the old-fashioned way: through a genuinely well-maintained golf course, a team that cares, and events that bring the Columbus, Nebraska community together. Superintendent Eric and his crew keep the fairways and greens in shape that golfers around the region specifically call out, and the clubhouse gives members and guests a comfortable home base after the round.

Beyond the course, the club has become a go-to gathering place for the kinds of occasions that matter. The Easter Brunch draws families from across Platte County every spring, with seasonal decorations, attentive service, and food that earns genuine compliments. The club also hosts the annual Veterans golf tournament at no charge to participants, a community give-back that reflects the values the Elks organization has championed for generations.

Situated at 5113 63rd Street, the property combines a full golf experience with banquet and event space that handles everything from weddings to holiday parties. If you have been looking for a venue that does multiple things well rather than one thing adequately, this is the place Columbus locals already know.

What We Offer

The 18-hole golf course is the centerpiece, and it shows in the condition. Whether you are a member logging weekend rounds or a guest joining for a tournament, the layout and turf quality hold up to courses well beyond this region. The pro shop stocks the essentials, and the staff keeps operations running smoothly from tee time to the 19th hole.

On the events side, the club handles weddings, banquets, and private parties in a setting that photographs beautifully and accommodates groups of varying sizes. The kitchen produces seasonal menus that have impressed guests at holiday brunches, anniversary dinners, and corporate luncheons alike. Servers here are the kind that guests specifically mention by name in reviews, which says something real about the hospitality standard.

The athletic fields and activity spaces round out the property, making Elks Country Club a legitimate multi-use destination rather than a single-purpose facility. Reach out through theelkscc.com to book a tee time, reserve event space, or learn about membership options.

"I called on 3/4 and set up a time to look at their country club to possibly rent out for our wedding. Showed up on our agreed upon day and was sent the chef, who had been there only 4 month, to talk to us. He had no idea what to say and we got no information. No one remembered our meeting!! So disrespectful."

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
